Behind the Scenes: Designing My Christmas Collection
Share
Designing a Christmas collection in the middle of summer is always a little surreal—while everyone else is reaching for ice creams and sunglasses, I have been sketching mince pies, pigs in blankets, and sparkly trifle bowls. But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Christmas is one of my favourite seasons to design for, and this year I’m so excited to share my brand new collection: Feast.
Feast is a colourful celebration of all the food and treats that make Christmas feel extra special. From sprout jokes to selection box sweets, from rich trifle to cheeseboards stacked high, it’s my playful love letter to the things we gather around and enjoy together. I wanted these designs to feel bold, nostalgic, and full of festive cheer—the kind of cards and wrap that instantly bring a smile.
Alongside the greeting cards, I’ve also created two new wrapping paper designs, this time in a beautiful matt finish. Not only does it look and feel amazing, but it also feels like a more eco-friendly step forward. I’ve been really focused on reducing plastic across my products, so all of my packs will now be secured with brand-new illustrated belly bands instead of cello sleeves. It’s been a big behind-the-scenes project for me, and I’m really proud to be moving my packaging in a more sustainable direction.
The cards and wrap are already printed (so exciting!) and I’m in the process of getting them into shops right now. If you know a lovely local shop that you think would be a good fit for Feast, I’d love for you to leave a suggestion in the comments—it makes such a difference in helping me spread the word.
This collection has been such a joy to design, and I can’t wait to see it out in the world this Christmas—brightening up mantels, gift tables, and celebrations everywhere.

They look great. I visit my family in Ramsgate every Christmas and I much prefer unique handcrafted things to the High Street uniformity.
