The Year of the Dragon šŸ²

The Year of the Dragon šŸ²

Itā€™s finally February and with it comes a fresh sense of joy, from celebrating love and indulging in pancakes to embracing the vibrant traditions of Chinese New Year.

Did you know that itā€™s the year of the dragon which is often associated with new beginnings, bold endeavours, and the realisation of dreams. How very exciting! The dragon is the symbol of good fortune and prosperity and to honour itĀ I have created my own dragon design.

Ā

This unique Katsillustration design is available as a downloadable phone wallpaper for free on the freebies section of my website. AlsoĀ joining it isĀ a cute Valentine hearts design and some pretty, sparkly bows. Check it out over atĀ katsillustration.com/pages/free-stuffĀ andĀ treat your phone a little wallpaper refresh.

While I was updating the freebies, I also added a Chinese New Year themed colouring page. This is a page from my Festival colouring book which is a 30 page book featuring some of the world's most epic festivals. I have almost sold out of copies but I do have a handful left on my website. They make a really fun and educational half term activity.Ā

I am planning to update my website with more colouring pages in the next few weeks. Here is a sneaky peek at the next one (which is not quite finished) inspired by a flower garden..

Unfinished floral colouring page idea

I'll keep you posted when it becomes available to download. Until then, enjoy the rest of February and whatever festivities you are planningĀ to celebrate.

I hope you have lots of fun!
