Back in the Studio: Spring Cards & Summer Plans
Share
January always feels a little like a reset button. A quieter inbox, a clearer desk, and that familiar urge to start something new. After the sparkle and rush of Christmas, I love easing back into work with fresh ideas, tidy plans, and a brand new collection to share.
I’m really excited to say my new Spring card collection is now live. This range includes 24 illustrated cards, designed to cover lots of little moments worth celebrating. Alongside birthdays, I’ve added age cards from 1–8, plus a few new occasions and celebration designs that felt like gaps I wanted to fill. As always, each card is illustrated by me and printed here in the UK!
This collection feels like a fresh start — lighter colours, playful details, and illustrations that feel optimistic and easy to send, whatever the occasion.
Looking Ahead to Summer ☀️
While spring is officially out in the world, behind the scenes I’m already deep into designing my summer collection. This one is shaping up to be very nostalgic and sun-soaked. I’m drawing inspiration from:
Moroccan patterns and tiles
Vintage holiday memories
Carefree, nostalgic summer colour palettes
It’s early days, but this collection already feels warm, bold, and full of those hazy summer memories. I can’t wait to share more as it comes together.
The Not-So-Glamorous January Bits
Alongside drawing and planning, January is also very much about catching up. I’m slowly working through emails, packing orders, updating stockists, and tackling all the admin that quietly piles up at the end of the year. It’s not the most exciting part of running a one-woman shop, but it’s a necessary reset — and there’s something quite satisfying about getting everything back into order.
If you’d like to see the new Spring card collection, it’s available now on my website, and I’ll be sharing more close-ups over on Instagram soon. Thank you, as always, for supporting my work, cheering me on, and being part of this little illustrated world I’m building.
Here’s to a creative, colourful year ahead 💛
